I have started my degree in Fine Art.
Expect me and my explanations for work to become very pretentious.

I have just got on to a Fine Art degree. I guess I'm good eh?

Alter: To cause to be different, modify, change.

State: A mode or condition of being or existing. A particular physical or chemical stage or condition of something.

In college we have been asked to come up with design ideas on an "Altered State".

Here were my ideas.

- Fashion Altered By Time
- Ageing - Human Altered by Time
- Chemical Reactions With Water (Potassium, Rust) - this would then be altering the state of something rather than an altered state.
- Vision Altered by Mood
- Rotting (such as rubbish, corpses etc.)

But I have finally settled on "Skies" as it is something that changes drastically all the time. Such as day, night, weather, aircraft, pollution etc.

I have explored media's and processes that will produce a 2D image, and these are what I have in mind to start me off:

- Screen Print on Paper.
- Hand Stitching On Photograph
- Illustration On Photograph
- Liquid Vinyl

So my next submissions will most likely involve the above ideas.

You might have also noticed that my latest submissions are quite random. I have been dabbling in four subjects:

- 2D Contemporary Imaging
- 3D Contemporary Imaging
- Visual Communication
- Textiles

and those are the products!
